I have spent my life inside the world’s most complex systems — aerospace, defense, technology, leadership — asking the question most people are too busy to ask: where did the humanity go?

Preserving humanity is not a philosophy. It is a practice. It means building a way through for the other person — and for yourself. It means treating everyone with dignity, including yourself, in the moments when it costs the most.
